The **_Finance Controller - India _**is responsible for our financial operations, ensure compliance, and drive performance across the organization. This role is critical in supporting decision-making, optimizing financial processes, and maintaining a strong control environment.

This position reports to the Regional Finance Director and is part of the Finance team located in _Mumbai _and will be an on-site role.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- _ Ensure robust internal controls, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance across all financial operations._
- _ Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in compliance with applicable accounting standards (US GAAP / IFRS / Ind AS)._
- _ Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning and performance management._
- _ Manage accounts payable, receivable, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions._
- _ Partner with cross-functional teams to support pricing decisions, deal structuring, and business case evaluations._
- _ Drive cost optimization, working capital efficiency, and process automation initiatives._
- _ Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement._

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- _ CA / CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification._
- _ 8-12 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in multinational or matrixed environments._
- _ Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit processes._
- _ Proven experience in financial planning & analysis, compliance, and team leadership._
- _ Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools._
- _ Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills._

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- SAP, Navision
- Process automation using RPAs
