What you'll do
- You will report to Manager Software Development, to contribute to reviewing the overall architecture of hardware, software, and networking systems by composing a slightly complex test plan script, executing the tests, documenting the results and analyzing the output
- You will Identify data needed for test, and creates new data or obtains existing data to meet requirements of the test.
- Works with Test & Defect Management tools, Test automation tools and scripting languages.
- Understanding the requriements and perform basic design and development, maintainenance of the automation & manual test suites as per project needs.
- Develops an understanding of the feature’s requirements and how the features are used.
- Assists with rollout of new or upgraded hardware, software, and networking system.
- You will participate in activities related to the Agile and DevOps including planning, reviews, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives and corrective actions etc.
- You will be responsible for creating/executing manual/automated test plans
- You will be responsible for supporting the operational duties of the software during maintenance windows.
- You will work within a cross functional Agile team to develop new components in a highly iterative fashion.

You should have
- 3 -5 years experience in creating/executing manual/automated test plans
- Knowledge in software testing; research, design, methodologies/processes, implementation and documentation
- Experience with testing tools and/or evaluation of testing tools
- Experience with test plan development and test environments
- Experience in planning and organizing test plan execution
- Technical experience in testing methodologies and procedures
- Ability to work under direct supervision on limited scope
- Experience in Telecom/Video/High-Speed data domain Preferred
