**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provide backup and administrative support for the demurrage team.

To include:

- Confirm and acknowledge receipt of new incoming claims from counterparties
- Record and manage data in JDE and HubSE (the demurrage program) for both existing and new claims
- Record incoming payments from Tricon Accounting, validate them accordingly within our systems and provide the debit/credit team with the documentation
- Begin on the job training to learn the concepts and different aspects of demurrage

**What We Are Looking For**
- A college graduate
- A person with the understanding of international trade and commerce or logistics/supply chain management is preferrable
- An intelligent, eager individual willing to eventually learn the skills of a demurrage analyst while assisting the demurrage analysts administratively
- Should have good MS Excel and MS Word knowledge/skills. Accounting knowledge is a plus

**Behavioural Skills**
- Action oriented and able to deliver in a demanding work environment
- Good written and communication skills
- The ability to work on their own once training has been provided and also to be able to work in a team setting as well
