Marine Operations Specialist:

This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai. As the Marine Operations Specialist, you will oversee daily fleet operations, coordinate with various departments, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and assist in scheduling and executing voyages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure vessels under time charter meet charter party terms by monitoring noon reports/position reports and coordinating with masters.
  • Collect cargo documents from vessels at load/discharge ports.
  • Analyze vessel performance in charterer's format.
  • Prepare freight invoices and demurrage claims as per charter party, following up for timely payment.
  • Send deck and engine logs to charterers within stipulated time.
  • Raise timely invoices for charter hire, freight, bunker reimbursement, and demurrage to charterers or brokers.
  • Assist Operation Superintendent with day-to-day work for smooth vessel operation.
  • Select, appoint, and approve agent's PDA and FDA.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical degree holders.
