**Job Description: Construction Site HSE Officer (India)**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, standards, and organizational policies.
- Conduct site inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Identify potential risks and develop preventive measures.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
- Deliver safety induction programs and regular training sessions for site workers and staff.
- Promote awareness of safe working practices among employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine causes and prevent recurrence.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and follow up on corrective measures.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, and training.
- Prepare periodic HSE performance reports for management.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans.
- Coordinate drills to ensure site readiness for emergencies.
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations related to waste management, emissions, and pollution control.
- Promote sustainable practices at the construction site.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Mandatory**: NEBOSH Certification (International General Certificate or equivalent).
- **Mandatory**: Diploma in Industrial Safety or a related qualification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HSE Officer, preferably in construction.
- Strong knowledge of Indian health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Ability to develop and deliver training sessions effectively.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe workplace.
