We are currently seeking a DB/MySQL architect to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
- Design, implement and manage multi-tenant database infrastructure (including MySQL).
- Work with developers and other database architects to come up with the right database design that can support users and transactions.
- Drive best practices that promote stability and operational efficiency.
- Build the right security controls (users, roles, permissions, access, password rotation policies) and govern the database infrastructure.
- Work with the release team to ensure there is no risk and impact on database post changes.
- Ensure that the right indexes are created, analyze long-running queries, and help engineering teams to rewrite, manage and monitor the database performance.
- Identify blocked transactions and deadlocks and work with the engineering team to resolve them.
- Monitor and review queries written for MySQL and guiding developers to write optimized queries.
- Strong experience in Monitoring, DB Performance Tuning, DB Availability, DR, Security, Storage
