**Responsibilities**:

- Manage library operations:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the library, including circulation, cataloging, and shelving of materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming library environment for patrons.
- Collection development:

- Select and acquire library materials, including books, periodicals, and digital resources, to support the needs and interests of library users.
- Evaluate and weed out outdated or irrelevant materials from the collection.
- Reference and reader services:

- Assist patrons with locating and accessing library materials, both in print and electronic formats.
- Provide reference services, answer inquiries, and offer guidance on research strategies and information literacy.
- Technology and innovation:

- Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in library science and integrate innovative solutions to enhance library services and operations.
- Manage library automation systems and assist patrons with technology-related inquiries or issues.

**Requirements**:

- B.Lib.I.Sc. (Bachelor of Library and Information Science), or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of library principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in library automation systems and digital library resources.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
