**Role Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**

1. **Internal Audit Execution**:

- Conduct end-to-end internal audit engagements across various departments and processes.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance frameworks.
- Perform detailed reviews of financial records, operational processes, and compliance with policies and procedures.

2. **Risk Assessment**:

- Identify key risks and assess their impact on business operations.
- Propose risk mitigation strategies and process improvements to enhance efficiency.

3. **Audit Planning & Reporting**:

- Assist in the development of audit plans, checklists, and programs.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports with observations, root causes, risks, and actionable recommendations.
- Present findings to management and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.

4. **Data Analysis**:

- Perform analytical reviews of data and trends to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, or irregularities.

5. **Compliance Monitoring**:

- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct audits in accordance with applicable standards, such as ICAI and IIA guidelines.

6. **Team Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and address audit observations.
- Provide guidance and support to junior audit team members.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- **Education**: Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with completed Articleship.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in conducting internal audits.
- Exposure to industries such as manufacturing, retail, FMCG, or consulting is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal control frameworks, and risk management practices.
- Proficiency in using audit tools, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and accounting software such as Tally or SAP.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
