BACHELOR OF COMMERCE (BCOM)

**Job Description**:

- Filing of GST Returns
- Verification of Tax Invoice and handling Dispatch formalities as per GST Law
- Handling Proof of Export and other correspondence with GST Authorities.
- Maintaining statutory records under GST Law
- Availment of GST ITC and reconciliation with Books of Accounts
- Reconciliation of ITC with GSTR2B and follow up for corrective action.
- Support in Automation and Digitalization of existing tax related process.
- Tax advisory to Business team and other location IDT team
- Handle issues related to GST and other Indirect Tax Laws, Tax Restructuring, Tax advisory pertaining to GST and Customs
- Drafting of submissions, appeals and appearances before the quasi-judicial authorities in Indirect tax litigation matters.
- Handle departmental audits, enquiries, and similar interventions
- Maintain healthy external relations in order to present the industry’s or company’s views on any IDT issue before tax authorities
- Ensure compliance with GST & other Indirect Tax Laws such as filling of periodical tax returns, replies/submissions to enquiries from the tax department
- Develop, implement and monitor tax control and compliance through robust system and process orientation
- Working closely with the leadership on matters related to Tax Planning, Advisory, Compliances and Litigation along with other relevant internal/external stakeholders
- Stay abreast on tax legislation, changes in tax regime, evaluate implications for the company, support in decision-making, communication and compliance
- Participate in the review/drafting of the tax clauses in the contracts
- Perform/co-ordinate on indirect tax due diligence for onshore and offshore projects
- Managing and customizing SAP to adhere to various taxation requirements
- Institutionalize a strong MIS reporting on Indirect Taxes, etc
- Working/Liaising with internal and Statutory auditors in regard to the audit requirements
