**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Handle **procurement of mechanical, electrical, and standard bought-out components** required for machine manufacturing.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable **vendors and suppliers** to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Review and analyse purchase requisitions, RFQs, and purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure the best value.
- Monitor **supplier performance** and maintain vendor scorecards.
- Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure specifications and requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, delivery, and inventory through **SAP/ERP systems**.
- Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply or quality issues.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives by identifying alternative suppliers and value engineering opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, procedures, and quality standards.

**Key Skills & Requirements**:

- **3 to 5 years of experience** in purchasing within the **machine building or industrial equipment manufacturing industry**.
- Proven experience in **vendor development and supplier relationship management**.
- Good knowledge of **electrical components, mechanical items, and standard bought-out parts** (e.g., motors, sensors, panels, fasteners, bearings, etc.).
- Proficient in **SAP or other ERP systems** for procurement and inventory management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and procurement compliance.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs (Bill of Materials) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (Diploma with relevant experience may be considered).
- Exposure to cost control and strategic sourcing.
- Knowledge of lean procurement and inventory management principles.
