**Responsibilities**:
- **Menu Development**: Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative and authentic Chinese cuisine menus, emphasizing Dimsum, Bao, and Wok specialties.
- **Food Preparation**: Execute food preparation tasks efficiently and with precision, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- **Cooking Techniques**: Showcase expertise in traditional Chinese cooking techniques, including steaming, frying, and stir-frying, especially in Dimsum, Bao, and Wok dishes.
- **Ingredient Selection**: Source and select the freshest and highest quality ingredients, maintaining consistency and authenticity in flavor profiles.
- **Recipe Adherence**: Adhere to standardized recipes while also demonstrating creativity and flair in adapting dishes to meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.
- **Kitchen Hygiene and Safety**: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, strictly adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other members of the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
- **Training and Development**: Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen staff, sharing knowledge and expertise in Chinese culinary techniques.
- **Customer Satisfaction**: Consistently strive to exceed guest expectations by delivering exceptional dining experiences through outstanding culinary creations.
- **Adaptability**: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing demands and priorities in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie specializing in Chinese Cuisine, with a focus on Dimsum, Bao, and Wok cooking.
- Extensive knowledge of Chinese culinary traditions, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure kitchen environment, demonstrating resilience and composure under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering culinary excellence.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant apprenticeship program is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
