Position: Guest Service Associate F & B-Bangalore.

Qualification : Bachelors/Dip -Hotel Management/Hospitality/Tours & travels/Aviation.

**JOB SCOPE **_(describe an overall summary of the job responsibilities)_
- Contribute to guest satisfaction standards by ensuring that food and beverage services are quickly addressed, and where possible, anticipate individual needs. Ensure the safety and comfort of guests and that any requests for service are handled in a courteous and efficient manner.
- **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES **_(describe the major duties of the role in the order of importance)_
- Welcome guests and promptly attend to tables
- Serve food and beverages to guests making recommendations if needed
- Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
- Record transactions in the point of sales system correctly and timely
- Check-in with guests to assure satisfaction with each course and beverage
- Clean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies
- Provides courteous service to guests and responds promptly to guest’s inquiries, complaints or requests.
- Maintain positive guest relations
- Be familiar with all hotel services, features and local attractions activities in order to respond accurately to any guest inquiry or seek assistance in a prompt manner.
- Accommodate guest requests for change courteously
- Take guest’ food and beverage order utilizing suggestive selling techniques and following all departmental standards
- Assist Restaurant Service staff in their jobs functions as specified in departmental standards
- Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times
- Knowledgeable of ingredients and prices of the food and beverage listed on the menu.
- Responds swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situations.
- Understands and adheres to safety, security policies and procedures.
- Familiar with company loyalty programs.
- Understanding of Food and Beverage Operating Manual policies and compliance.
- Adheres to Hotel Service Quality Standards.
- Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS** _(state the minimum experience, knowledge, education, language, technical skills, travelling requirements of this position.)_
- Previous experience with Food & Beverage in a 4 or 5 star hotel or hotel chain.
- Proficient in English and local language.
- Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent grooming standards.

**Salary**: From ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Rotational shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
