**About the role**:
To move the operations further, this is a position to manage the operations in an optimized manner. To brief you about the operations and the strength of the company, this is a start-up run with the help of a small team & is in the set-up stage. The sales have just slowly escalated. Hence, there is a huge opportunity for you to take up responsibilities for the brand to be developed.

We are looking for individuals who are willing to work across a broad portfolio of work.

**Responsibilities**:
**Control the inventory levels in the warehouse and on**:

- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory at the warehouse
- Set inventory thresholds: Determine the minimum and maximum inventory levels for each product.
- Develop and implement inventory control strategies and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management at the warehouse.

**Weekly Inventory Audit**:

- Perform accurate and thorough weekly inventory counts to maintain stock accuracy.
- Record and analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.

**Production Planning**:

- Develop production plans for the next 30 to 60 days based on demand forecasts and inventory levels..
- Use the analysis to forecast future sales and plan new shipments accordingly.
- Identify packaging material requirements based on production plans and inventory levels.

**Vendor Management**:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring effective communication and resolution of any issues.
- Source and procure packaging materials from approved vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards. Maintain relationships with packaging material suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement processes and improve overall supply chain efficiency.

**Create Shipments for FBA and Shiprocket warehouses as well as manage all shipment-related work**:

- Generate shipping labels and manage the shipment process for Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) and Shiprocket warehouses.
- Monitor shipment status, track packages, and resolve any shipment-related issues or delays.
- Coordinate with the logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of packaging materials.

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in a production role in the Food industry would be desirable
- Familiarity with Google Suite & Asana.

**Skills**:

- Confidence in making timely and informed decisions, weighing options carefully, and considering the potential impact on production outcomes.
- Effective prioritization of tasks, organization of schedules, and efficient use of time and resources to meet production deadlines and goals.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in all aspects of production processes.
- Possess adaptability and demonstrate the ability to effectively implement guidance from the CEO, when needed.
- Ability to proactively contribute, take ownership, and tackle tasks beyond core responsibilities when required.

**About the company**:
The Millet Company sells super-grains, rediscovers traditional farming techniques, and brings a variety of naturally organic millets to your plate. It's a startup expanding into Millet products and its businesses, run by a small team working with different vendors, agents, and clients and now looking to expand the team.

**Note**:
The period will be 6 months of probation with 1 month of training until conversion into full-time. We will have a small personality test, as we consider this teammate to be a long-term collaborator for the future.
