**Media Relations**:
- Develop and implement effective media outreach strategies to secure press coverage for Asli Kahani’s clients.
- Build and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers across print, digital, and broadcast media.
- Identify relevant media opportunities such as interviews, articles, and editorial features that align with clients' goals.
- Craft engaging pitches, press releases, and story angles that showcase the unique aspects of clients and their brands.
- Manage media inquiries, coordinate interviews, and ensure timely responses to press requests.
- Monitor and report media coverage, providing insights on campaign performance.
**Public Relations Officer Responsibilities**:
- Serve as the main point of contact between Asli Kahani, its clients, and external stakeholders, ensuring a consistent and professional public image.
- Plan and execute public relations campaigns, events, and press conferences to promote the brand and its clients.
- Develop and maintain a PR calendar, coordinating initiatives such as product launches, industry events, and press tours.
- Write and edit public-facing content including speeches, newsletters, and statements for clients and senior executives.
- Handle crisis communications by managing media messaging during sensitive situations and ensuring clients are well-prepared.
- Collaborate with internal teams including content, social media, and digital marketing to ensure alignment in messaging and brand strategy.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in media relations and public relations, preferably in the digital media or publishing industry.
- Strong network of media contacts in India, particularly in Bangalore.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and content creation.
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple campaigns, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in crisis management and handling sensitive media issues.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Familiarity with the Indian media landscape, including digital platforms and influencers.
- Proficiency in media monitoring tools and PR software.
- Previous experience working with high-profile clients and managing public-facing communications.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 50 per week
