A Civil Site Supervisor oversees construction activities at a worksite to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to design specifications. They act as a liaison between project managers, workers, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain smooth project execution.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Site Management**:

- Supervise all construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate daily work schedules for workers and contractors.
- Monitor the progress of work to meet deadlines and milestones.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce adherence to safety protocols and regulations to minimize accidents and hazards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues immediately.
- Ensure workers use protective equipment and follow safety procedures.
- **Quality Control**:

- Review plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy in construction.
- Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship, and construction practices.
- Identify and rectify issues affecting the quality of work.
- **Communication and Coordination**:

- Serve as the point of contact between project managers, engineers, and on-site teams.
- Provide regular updates and reports on site progress and challenges.
- Address concerns raised by workers, contractors, or clients.
- **Resource Management**:

- Oversee the procurement, delivery, and storage of materials and equipment on-site.
- Optimize the use of manpower, tools, and machinery for efficient operations.
- Resolve resource conflicts or shortages effectively.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and progress.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, timekeeping logs, and site documentation.
- Document variations and submit recommendations for approval when changes are needed.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction site supervision.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to solve problems efficiently.
- **Certifications**: First Aid, Health & Safety certifications, or site-specific certifications are a plus.
