About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Cloud SME to lead the strategy, prioritization, and execution of enterprise-wide data initiatives on the cloud. This role will act as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring that our data cloud investments deliver measurable value, are privacy-compliant, and are scalable across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Ownership & Roadmap Execution. Define and drive the enterprise data cloud strategy aligned with business objectives and future scalability. Develop and implement a structured, phased roadmap for enterprise-wide data cloud adoption. Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and architecture best suited for data storage, processing, and governance in the cloud. Use Case Prioritization & Governance. Establish frameworks to evaluate and prioritize incoming use cases based on business impact, feasibility, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals. Lead stakeholder conversations to assess business needs and translate them into actionable data cloud initiatives. Implementation & Environment Set-Up. Oversee the design and setup of cloud-based data environments, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Ensure best practices around data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics pipelines are followed. Guide teams on data privacy, access control, compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR), and enterprise security standards. POC Validation & Solution Consulting Review and validate Proof of Concepts (POCs) submitted by business units to assess architectural fit, scalability, and long-term viability. Act as a trusted advisor to business units and product teams for implementing cloud-native data solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams across departments. Change Management & Roll-Out Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and data teams to plan the organization-wide rollout of new cloud-based data products or platforms. Define training, adoption, and change management strategies to ensure successful implementation.

Key Requirements

Experience & Skills10+ years in data architecture, cloud strategy, or enterprise data solutions, with 3-5 years in a lead or SME role. Expertise in modern data architectures (Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, etc.).Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools, cloud-native services (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Synapse, GCP Big Query).Understanding of data cataloging, lineage, and metadata management tools.

Knowledge of DevOps/Infra as Code for data platforms is a plus.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
