**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Architect to join our team. As a Data Platform Architect, you will be responsible for designing and architecting data platforms to support the storage, processing, and analysis of large-scale datasets exceeding 25 TB. The role involves developing strategies for data management, integration, and governance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing best practices for data architecture. This position offers an opportunity to work remotely with occasional meetings in Bangalore, India.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and architect data platforms to support the storage, processing, and analysis of large-scale datasets exceeding 25 TB.
- Develop strategies for data management, integration, and governance to ensure data quality and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement best practices for data architecture, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Optimize performance and scalability of data platforms to meet current and future business needs.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and building data platforms, preferably handling a minimum of **25 TB of data.**:

- Proficiency in database technologies **(SQL, NoSQL), cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and big data tools (Hadoop, Spark).**:

- Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling techniques, and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certification in relevant technologies **(e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cloudera Certified Professional).**:

- Experience working in industries with stringent data security and compliance requirements.
