The goal for Udhyam is to build a thriving and supportive ecosystem, where every individual feels empowered to define their own path.

**Position Overview**:
The M&E Intern will support the Monitoring and Evaluation team in tracking and reporting on the impact of various programs. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting within the organisation. The intern will work closely with the M&E Manager/Specialist to ensure that all data is collected systematically and used effectively for decision-making.

**Location**: Bengaluru, Karnataka (preferred) / Remote acceptable

**Duration**: 6 months

**Time Commitment**: Full Time

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Data Collection**: Assist in designing data collection tools, conducting surveys, interviews, and focus groups to gather information from program participants.-
**Data Entry and Management**: Input data into the M&E database, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Organise and maintain data files and documentation.-
**Data Analysis**: Support the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to measure program outcomes and impact.-
**Reporting**: Assist in the preparation of M&E reports, including visualisations, case studies, and success stories for internal and external stakeholders.-
**Monitoring**: Participate in field visits to monitor the implementation of programs and collect relevant data.- ** Documentation**: Help maintain and update the M&E documentation, including methodology, tools, and best practices.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.

**Skills**:
**Important**: Experience with open source data analysis and management tools like R, Jamovi, SQL, and Python, particularly in creating reproducible work.-
- Proficiency in Google Workspace Suite, particularly Google Sheets and Google Slides.-
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.-
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.

**Experience**:
Previous experience in M&E, research, or related fields is an advantage but not required.
