**Job Description for Machinist -**

**Position**: Machinist
**Location**: Howrah

We need 50+ machinist in our plant.

CTC - 16000/
- **Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Learn to interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand mechanical assembly requirements.
- Perform basic mechanical fitting tasks, including measuring, cutting, threading, and shaping metal components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machines under supervision for various fitting and maintenance activities.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems and components.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop and workplace.
- Observe and follow all safety regulations and guidelines while working with equipment and tools.
- Document maintenance and repair work performed and report progress to supervisors.
- Participate in on-the-job training sessions and attend related theoretical classes as per apprenticeship guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior team members to learn advanced fitting techniques.

**Required Qualifications**:

- HS Pass.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical concepts and tools.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Basic math knowledge is required.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Prior experience in a mechanical workshop or industrial setting (optional).
- Basic understanding of machine operation and maintenance.
- Ability to use measurement instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
