Job Title: Fashion Designer

**Job Description**:
Position Overview:
As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating designs for clothing, accessories, or footwear that meet the needs of the target market and align with the brand's vision. You will work closely with the creative team, including merchandisers and product developers, to translate trends and consumer insights into innovative and commercially viable designs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Research and Analysis:

- Stay abreast of current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market dynamics.
- Conduct research on fabrics, materials, and techniques to inform design decisions.
- Analyze competitors' products and identify opportunities for differentiation.

2. Conceptualization and Design:

- Develop design concepts, sketches, and mood boards based on trend research and brand identity.
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm ideas and refine concepts.
- Translate conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings or digital renderings.

3. Material and Color Selection:

- Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments for each design.
- Experiment with color palettes and combinations to create visually appealing collections.
- Ensure that chosen materials align with quality standards and production requirements.

4. Prototype Development:

- Oversee the creation of prototypes or samples to test design feasibility.
- Work closely with patternmakers and sample machinists to bring designs to life.
- Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired fit and aesthetics.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and production, to ensure design alignment with business goals.
- Communicate design concepts, specifications, and revisions effectively to internal stakeholders and external partners.

6. Trend Forecasting and Innovation:

- Anticipate future trends and innovations in fashion, materials, and technology.
- Propose innovative design ideas and techniques to differentiate the brand and drive consumer interest.

7. Quality Control and Compliance:

- Review samples and production pieces to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes to address any issues related to fit, construction, or finishing.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical sourcing practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
- Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD.
- Strong sketching and technical drawing skills.
- Excellent understanding of garment construction, têxtiles, and manufacturing processes.
- Creative vision and trend forecasting abilities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
