We're seeking an Agile Coach and Scrum Master to drive the evolution of our Agile practices and support our digitalization journey as a key part of our Supply strategy. (Supply is our name for Operations). You will have a global role and be part of the Digital Innovations Hub (DIH) team. This role provides the unique opportunity to mentor and lead the Supply organization helping us to continually improve, scale, and innovate within the manufacturing industry.

About the job

As an Agile Coach and Scrum Master, your primary mission will be to enhance our Agile practices, guide our teams' productivity, and instill a culture of continuous improvement. You will support the Digital Innovations Hub team whose main mission is to scout or develop, test and scale digital solutions (software) that will improve cost competitiveness within Sandvik Coromant Supply on a global scale.

You will champion Agile methodology and Scrum practices, boost team productivity, and encourage an environment of constant learning and improvement.

Main Responsibilities
- Educate, mentor, and support Scrum teams, ensuring strict adherence to Agile methodologies and promoting a mature Agile culture.
- Foster team self-organization and ownership of complex problems in addition to task management.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate tasks, issues, risks, and action items to facilitate smooth progress.
- Coordinate and lead Scrum ceremonies, meetings, and decision-making processes to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Monitor team performance and progress, motivating teams to make continuous improvements.
- Plan, organize, and execute product demos and system testing, ensuring thorough quality control.
- Cultivate an environment of collaboration, eliminate impediments, and guarantee the smooth operation of the Scrum team.
- Oversee project processes, deliverables, and financials, promoting transparent communication and accountability.
- Prepare and present concise status reports to stakeholders, maintaining open communication channels.
- Collaborate the Sandvik Coromant Agile CoE other Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, to enhance Agile adoption across Supply
- Conduct training sessions for employees at various levels to expand the understanding and practice of Agile.

- In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Solid project management proficiency, with experience managing global cross-functional teams and multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and addressing issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in common project management software and tools.
- Ability to coach teams on agile methodologies
- Expertise in change management strategies and techniques
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and other project management methodologies.

Education and Experience:

- Experience in driving global Agile Transformation initiatives.
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a digital innovation setting or part of a Digital Transformation team within a global manufacturing/process industry.
- Agile and Scrum Master Certifications (ICP-ACC, CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent) are required.
- Prior experience in manufacturing and/or operations management is highly desirable.
