Position Summary:
We are looking for an Industrial Engineer to join our team and help us in overseeing and managing company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity.

Responsible for developing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Understand the company’s supply chain process and objectives, and develop strategies to improve efficiencies
- Manage inventory levels to ensure that materials are available as needed while minimizing excess and obsolescence
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure that they meet quality standards and delivery timelines
- Prepare reports on supply chain metrics for upper management
- Assist with the development and implementation of new ERP/MRP systems
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Timely issuance of POs to Suppliers, follow-up for order confirmation and co-ordination for on time payment to suppliers.
- Coordinating with suppliers for actual delivery status of material
- On time completion of Open Purchase Order Report and Shortage Report for review
- To meet or exceed desired service levels and inventory targets as defined for the products assigned, validated through procurement metrics
- Coordinate with Internal PR and Supplier for Purchase Order Changes
- To identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of procurement processes
- Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in processes

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field
- 2-4 years experience in supply chain management or a related role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Understanding & exposure of APQP processes.
- Exposure and understanding of ISO 9001:2015, IATF-16949 process standards.

Physical Requirements:

- Occasional visits to Supplier.
- Minimal travelling required. 90% office work.
- Should possess own vehicle and/else driving license.
