**Job Summary**:
The Junior Associate for the Revenue Norms & Commission Department will assist in analyzing, implementing, and monitoring revenue-related regulations and commission policies within the solar energy sector. This role involves understanding regulatory frameworks, ensuring compliance with tariffs and revenue norms, and supporting interactions with regulatory bodies like the State Electricity Regulatory Commissions (SERCs) and Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Regulatory Compliance & Research**:

- Assist in researching and interpreting revenue norms, tariffs, and commission guidelines set by regulatory bodies, such as CERC and SERCs.
- Help ensure compliance with government policies on revenue-sharing, tariff structures, and incentives for solar energy projects.
- Monitor updates in regulations and prepare summaries for the senior legal and regulatory team.
- **Support in Tariff Filings & Petitions**:

- Assist in preparing tariff petitions, replies, and comments for submission to regulatory commissions.
- Help draft documents and reports required for filing revenue-related petitions and handling hearings with SERCs/CERC.
- Coordinate with internal teams to collect data needed for tariff filings and ensure accuracy in submissions.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain up-to-date records of revenue norms, commission orders, and regulatory submissions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on revenue norms, tariff changes, and their impact on solar energy projects.
- Support the senior team in drafting responses to regulatory queries and notifications.
- **Stakeholder Coordination**:

- Assist in liaising with regulatory bodies like CERC, SERCs, and other government authorities regarding tariff approvals, revenue norms, and related matters.
- Coordinate with internal departments (legal, finance, operations) to ensure accurate representation of financial and legal aspects in regulatory submissions.
- Support the preparation of presentations and reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory commissions.
- **Analysis of Revenue Norms**:

- Analyze current and proposed revenue norms to identify potential impacts on solar energy projects.
- Help assess the financial implications of tariff changes and new regulations on the company’s projects and pricing models.
- Assist in monitoring market trends and developments related to renewable energy tariffs and government incentives.
- **Compliance Monitoring**:

- Track and report on compliance with revenue norms and regulatory approvals for ongoing projects.
- Assist the senior team in auditing and reviewing project compliance with tariff structures and commission regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in law, Economics, Business, or a related field. A focus on regulatory, energy, or infrastructure sectors is a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in regulatory compliance, revenue analysis, or commission-related work, preferably in the energy or renewable sector.
- Basic knowledge of energy policies, tariff structures, and regulatory frameworks in the renewable energy sector.

**Skills**:

- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory documents.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to analyze financial data related to tariffs and revenue.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports, petitions, and regulatory documents.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Internship or entry-level experience in a regulatory body or a renewable energy company focusing on revenue norms, commissions, or tariffs.

Familiarity with the functioning of CERC, SERCs, or other regulatory authorities in the energy sector.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
