**Job Title: Freelance Fashion Designer**

**Location: Chennai**

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the creative team to develop seasonal concepts and themes for fashion collections.
- Research current fashion trends, materials, and techniques to inspire and inform design concepts.
- Create original sketches and designs that reflect the brand's aesthetic and target audience.
- Develop detailed patterns in standard sizes for garments within the collection.
- Coordinate with external vendors and tailors to ensure accurate sampling and production of garments.
- Oversee the sampling process, providing feedback and guidance to ensure quality and consistency.
- Work closely with the tailors to finalize sample designs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, attending fashion events and trade shows as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing original designs and collections.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
- Excellent understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and sizing standards.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Detail-oriented with a creative mindset and a passion for innovation in fashion design.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
- Knowledge of sourcing materials and working with external vendors is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred.

**Salary**:
As per industry-standard freelance rates, commensurate with experience and expertise.
