**Job Summary**:
The Product Owner will be responsible for defining and managing the development and delivery of a product or set of products. The role requires an in-depth understanding of the customer needs, market trends, and business objectives. The Product Owner will serve as the primary point of contact between the product team and all other stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Experience in BFSI Sector product development like MDM is preferred
- Define product strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and market research.
- Develop and maintain a backlog of user stories and prioritize them based on business value and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like development, design, and quality assurance to define requirements and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Provide clear and concise guidance to the development team during sprints ensuring adherence to product vision and strategy.
- Continuously track and analyse product performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Collect and analyse customer feedback and market research to identify new opportunities, customer pain points, and potential new features.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and product launch plans.
- Represent the product team, provide updates, and communicate product development progress to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and keep abreast of industry trends and best practices.
- Refine and iterate product features based on feedback from customers, internal stakeholders, and market conditions.

**Requirements**:

- 10 - 12 years of experience in product management or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of product development methodologies like Agile and Scrum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in managing product backlogs and prioritizing user stories based on business value and customer needs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyse complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and experience in bringing software products to market.
- Experience in agile project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Trello.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in financial or banking software products is an asset.
