Job Summary: Product Owner

We are looking for a high-performing Product Owner to join our scrum team that will leverage and extend Outmarch Retail Platform to provide exceptional business value to retailers.

In this role, you will identify the product and feature strategy by direct interaction with leadership, key stakeholders, market influencers and cross-team leads to build, document, and maintain both the near-term product objectives and long-term product strategy. You will identify and promote stakeholder needs and continually prioritize the team backlog to maximize the value of the product and the go-to-market initiatives. As a Product Owner, you will incorporate stakeholder input into the product roadmap while effectively negotiating tradeoffs of conflicting priorities based on value to the business and customer.

**Required Skills**:

- Providing vision and direction to the scrum team and stakeholders ensuring a clear and prioritized backlog of work is ready and available to support team execution.

Work closely with product stakeholders to assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value/ROI and are aligned with product strategy.
Able to create prototypes using tools like Figma, and Adobe XD.
Ensure that the Scrum Team deliverables meet agreed-upon standards for quality and non-functional requirements and that the product meets the documented business need and objectives.
Prioritize product feature backlog and define acceptance criteria for the product.
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectations for the delivery of new functionalities.
Collaboratively support the team’s objective of meeting sprint goals and provide knowledge to minimize complexity as well as renegotiate goals as needed.
Follow the progress of work and address issues that impact backlog prioritization and/or sprint goals during active cycles.
- Experience working as an agile product owner in a software company that is delivering iterative product development (or relevant work experience).

Comfortable driving teams and management to decisions; willing to push back for information and answers.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated conflict management and negotiation skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Adept at adjusting to changing circumstances quickly and professionally, the ability to make quick decisions when clarification or modification is necessary.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
