**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Responsibilities**
- Analyzing and communicating stakeholder needs by translating business requirements into software requirements.
- Specify requirements as user stories details & acceptance criteria.
- Groom and prioritize backlog.
- Set sprint goals.
- Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap.
- Plan releases and upgrades
- Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints
- Own the product roadmap and ensure it aligns with the strategic goals.
- Map Customer Journey.
- Analyze preferences and requests of end users.
- Refine agile methodology based on results and client feedback.
- Keep track of industry trends.
- Follow our competitors and the industry.
- Create and manage project and resource utilization.

**Experience**
- 3-4 years of experience in working as part of a scrum or development team, with minimum 2 years of experience in working as a product owner.
- Strong understanding and work experience in scrum framework, a strong plus
- Team player with strong communication skills

Knowledgeable & experienced in software development
- Certified/experienced Scrum Product Owner
- Understanding of both the technical and business side of software development
- Successful track record of developing products within deadlines
- Experience working on JIRA & Confluence

**Qualifications**
- Graduation in Computer Engineering/IT or any related courses.
- Post graduation (MBA in IT) is good to have, but not mandatory.
- GIS domain knowledge is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a product owner in the industry.
- Formally and informally educated in Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of technical matters in software development processes and procedures.
