**About the role**:
**About the Team**:
The Operations department is responsible for the operational processes related to lending and other businesses in Paytm. This includes tasks such as:

- Invoicing and payment processing
- Monitoring transaction flow and managing exceptions.
- Drive operational efficiency and quality assurance.
- Process standardization and driving efficiencies.
- Ensuring proper controls and four eye check across all critical processes.
- Reporting and analytics

The Operations department plays a vital role in ensuring that the lending and payment processes run smoothly and efficiently.

**Expectations/ Requirements**:
**1. **Develop and implement operational strategies.

2.Creating SOP’s for the responsible processes and ensuring adherence to SOPs in day to day

operations.

3.Modify internal processes, with the aim of the efficiency and effectiveness and in

compliance with internal and statutory regulations and guidelines.

4.Coordination different functional teams (Technology, Product, Business, etc.) for

implementing and managing efficient processes.

5.Oversee daily operations and provide insights for required process and organisational

changes.

6.Work closely with business/ sales team to provide required support in achievement of

business goals and targets.

7.Responsible as disciplinary lead for Operations team. Overall team management and

resource optimization.

8.Provide administrative and managerial support for the team.

9.Drive metric identification and target setting processes, in alignment with department/

company AOP.

10.Delivering service to internal and external customers and supporting Customer Service

Team.

11.Ensuring smooth transaction processing and monitoring.

12.Maintain in-depth knowledge of end-to-end transactional flows.

13. Understanding and implementing internal controls.

14. Responsible for preparation Annual Operating plan for responsible processes.

15.Ensure compliance with regulations and internal guidelines.

**Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role:
1. Masters or professional degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field.

2.15+ years of experience in a banking/operation/ transaction processing environment.

3.Strong leadership qualities with experience in managing mid to large size teams.

4.Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, organizational and problem-solving skills.

5.Understanding of financial parameters and KPI’s.

6.Experience in area of process management and efficiency.

7.Good communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Ability to travel as needed.
