
Sales Assistant

**Job Summary**:
The Sales Assistant will support the sales team in day-to-day operations, including managing client communication, preparing quotations, tracking orders, and maintaining customer records. The role requires strong organizational skills, communication ability, and a customer-focused mindset.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and send **quotations, proforma invoices**, and product datasheets
- Coordinate with internal departments (accounts, logistics, etc.) to ensure order processing and timely dispatch
- Maintain and update **customer database, enquiry logs, and follow-up records**:
- Support in **preparing sales reports**, tracking targets, and monitoring sales performance
- Respond to basic technical queries by coordinating with the product team
- Follow up with clients for payments, order confirmation, and feedback
- Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and marketing campaigns if required
- Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with all clients
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in sales support or customer service (preferably in industrial or B2B segment)
- Proficiency in **MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)**:
- Knowledge of CRM tools and ERP software is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to multitask
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Internship
Contract length: 11 months
Pay: ₹8,604.71 - ₹37,515.99 per month
