Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Librarian to join our team and support the academic success and personal growth of our students. The School Librarian will play a vital role in fostering a culture of reading, promoting information literacy, and providing access to diverse resources that enhance learning and teaching within our school community.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the school library including collection development, cataloging, and maintenance of library materials.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate information literacy skills and research techniques into the curriculum.
- Provide reference and research assistance to students and faculty, guiding them in locating and evaluating information resources.
- Promote reading and literacy by curating diverse collections of books, magazines, and digital resources that reflect students' interests and needs.
- Develop and implement library programs and activities that encourage a love for reading, critical thinking, and creativity.
- Teach library skills such as effective searching, citation formatting, and responsible use of information to empower students as lifelong learners.
- Support technology integration initiatives by providing training and assistance with digital tools and resources.
- Collaborate with school staff to promote library services, events, and resources to students, parents, and the broader school community.
- Maintain accurate records of library circulation, usage statistics, and inventory.
- Stay informed about current trends, issues, and best practices in school librarianship and educational technology.

Qualifications:

- Master's/Bachelor degree in Library Science or Information Science from an ALA-accredited program.
- Previous experience working as a school librarian or in an educational setting preferred.
- Knowledge of educational technology tools, digital resources, and online databases.
- Strong instructional and presentation skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, and administrators.
- Commitment to promoting literacy, diversity, equity, and inclusion in the school library.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities in a school environment.
- State certification or licensure as a school librarian may be required.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Rotational shift
