**Qualification Librarian (TGT / PGT)**:
**Master’s Degree in Arts /Science / Commerce + Degree or equivalent course in Library and Information Science from a recognized University**

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Library Management**: Organize and manage library resources, including books, journals, and digital media. Catalog and classify library materials to ensure easy retrieval for students and staff. Maintain an updated inventory and handle the circulation of books and resources.

2. **Assisting Students and Faculty**: Assist students and faculty in locating information and resources for academic purposes. Provide support with research and reference materials as needed.

3. **Library Maintenance**: Ensure the library is a conducive environment for learning by maintaining order and cleanliness. Monitor the condition of books and materials, coordinating repairs or replacements as necessary.

4. **Digital Library Management**: Manage any digital library systems, databases, or online resources the school may have. Educate students and staff on using digital resources effectively.

5. **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of library transactions, including borrowing, returns, and overdue materials. Prepare monthly reports on library usage and resource management.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Proficiency in library management systems and classification software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for teaching and promoting reading and research among students.
