**Qualification Librarian (TGT / PGT)**:
Master’s Degree in Arts /Science / Commerce + Degree or equivalent course in Library and Information Science from a recognized University

OR

A Master’s degree in Library & Information Science from a recognized University

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Library Management**: Supervise and organize library resources, such as books, journals, and digital media. Effectively catalog and classify library materials to promote easy access for students and staff. Maintain a current inventory and oversee the circulation of books and resources.

2. **Assisting Students and Faculty**: Support students and faculty in identifying information and resources for educational purposes. Provide help with research and reference materials when necessary.

3. **Library Maintenance**: Maintain an organized library to create a supportive atmosphere for learning. Regularly assess the state of books and materials, and coordinate any required repairs or replacements.

4. **Digital Library Management**: Oversee the management of any digital library systems, databases, or online resources available at the school. Provide instruction to students and staff on the effective utilization of these digital resources.

5. **Record Keeping**: Ensure the accurate tracking of library transactions, which includes the borrowing and returning of materials as well as managing overdue items. Compile monthly reports that reflect library usage and resource allocation.

- Proficiency in library management systems and classification software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for teaching and promoting reading and research among students.
