**What success looks like in this role**:
Manual Software testing
- **Understanding of SDLC & STLC**- Software Development Life Cycle & Software Testing Life Cycle.
- **Understanding of Agile process**
- **Test Case Design & Execution**- Ability to create, execute, and manage test cases.
- **Defect Tracking Tools**- Experience with tools like **JIRA**:

- **Basic SQL Knowledge**- Ability to write simple SQL queries for data validation.
- **API Testing**- Familiarity with API testing using **Postman**(optional but beneficial).
- **Mobile & Web Testing**- Understanding of mobile and cross-browser testing.
- **Automation Awareness**- Knowledge of automation tools like **Selenium**is a plus but not mandatory.

**You will be successful in this role if you have**:

**2. Soft Skills**
- **Analytical Thinking**- Ability to find edge cases and think like an end user.
- **Communication Skills**- Ability to write clear test reports and communicate findings with developers.
- **Team Collaboration**- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers.

**3. Experience & Education**
- **Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field**(Not always mandatory, but preferred).
- **Certifications (Optional but Valuable)**- ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification can boost credibility.
- **Relevant Work Experience**- 2-4 years

- Regression Testing
- Smoke & Sanity Testing
- Usability Testing
- Compatibility Testing
- Performance Testing (Basic understanding)
