**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Principal in the overall administration and management of the school.
- Lead and oversee the science department, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, innovative science curriculum.
- Foster a positive school climate focused on academic excellence, student well-being, and personal growth.
- Supervise, mentor, and support faculty in delivering effective teaching strategies and implementing best practices in science education.
- Collaborate with faculty to design and implement professional development programs.
- Ensure compliance with educational policies, procedures, and state regulations.
- Handle student disciplinary matters, promoting a safe and respectful school environment.
- Support extracurricular science programs and STEM initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with parents, addressing concerns and celebrating student achievements.
- Assist in the development and management of the school’s budget and resources.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field (PhD is a plus).
- Proven leadership experience in an educational setting (previous experience as a Vice Principal or similar leadership role is preferred).
- Strong knowledge of curriculum design, educational technology, and best practices in science education.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Passionate about fostering a positive learning environment and promoting science literacy.
