Area Sales Manger

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Strategic sales**
a. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the company's sales goals.
b. Evaluate market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
**2. Team Leadership and Management**
a. Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
b. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, strategies, and performance.
c. Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
d. Monitor the performance of the sales team and provide constructive feedback.
**3. Sales Performance & Monitoring**
a. Track and report on key performance metrics, including sales figures, revenue, and conversion rates.
b. Identify underperforming areas and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
c. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management regarding sales progress.
**4. Customer Relationship Management**:
a. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and business partners.
b. Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
c. Identify new business opportunities and potential clients for the organization.
**5. Collaboration with Other Departments**:
a. Work closely with marketing, customer support, and product teams to align sales efforts with business strategies.
b. Provide feedback from customers and prospects to product development teams.
**6. Negotiation and Deal Closing**:
a. Lead negotiations for large accounts and high-value deals.
b. Develop and implement closing strategies to maximize sales and revenue.
c. Oversee the preparation of contracts, proposals, and pricing strategies.
**What will you bring?**
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
2. Proven experience as a Sales manager or in a similar leadership role.
3. Strong knowledge of sales principles, techniques.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to analyse data and market trends to make informed decisions.
6. Leadership skills with a focus on team motivation and performance management.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
