**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Intern to join our team. The intern will assist the accounting department with various tasks, gaining hands-on experience in accounting and finance.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Data Entry and Record Keeping**:

- Input financial data into accounting software.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Assist in updating and maintaining general ledger accounts.

**2. Financial Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Help with the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

**3. Reconciliation and Analysis**:

- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Assist in the analysis of financial data and trends.
- Help identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

**4. Accounts Payable and Receivable**:

- Support the accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Assist in processing invoices and payments.
- Help manage vendor and customer accounts.

**5. Compliance and Auditing**:

- Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Help prepare documentation for audits.

**6. Administrative Support**:

- Provide administrative support to the accounting team.
- Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Help with other tasks as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
