Drive effective, integrated, and innovative supply chain solutions for customers using the entire set of DP World capabilities
- Understand current client logistic operations of the customer, identify unmet needs, challenges, opportunities to drive value with support of Sales manager / Account manager
- Design effective integrated logistics solutions through extensive cost-benefit analysis. Support the value based selling proposals with the sales team
- Support the cost / effort estimation process for the proposed solution with support from the Operations team and Pricing team
- Develop implementation plan of proposed logistics solution, including development of operations plan, hiring requirement & end customer commercial value proposition with support of the delivery teams
- Help position DP World as a Thought leader in the logistics space through consultative futuristic value selling
- Facilitate knowledge transfer between solutions and delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation of solutions
- Drive solution excellence and develop strategies towards solution design for customer acquisition
- Lead the design for RFQ qualification/ Ontime solution submission, multi facet information and design cost-effective, operationally feasible solution to meet customer requirements. Support operation in reengineering of current process / setup to sustain competitiveness.
- Liaise with customers and business development team to understand customer supply chain requirements and prepare data questionnaire based on customer RFQ requirement to capture the throughput/ requirement details.
- Provide analysis and design support in the pursuit of new business, operational implementations, and re-engineering initiatives
- Develop effective customer presentation of the appropriate solutions as part of the pursuit teams
- Collect and analyze the data relating to logistics operations and determine the optimal logistics solutions for customers.
- Coordinating with procurement team for capex requirement/ ER and IR team for minimum wage.
- To develop a database of Property, MHE, Costs, and all other information used in developing Solutions
- To utilize appropriate software tools for developing, modeling, evaluating, and selecting appropriate solution options for customers.
- Clearly outline solutions in appropriate manner and present to customers along with business development and business operations team.
- Drive engagement levels of the team, manage efficiency levels and drive timely delivery of all key objectives of the solution design team
