**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform fitting and assembly of mechanical components as per technical drawings and specifications.
- Conduct installation, alignment, and maintenance of machines and mechanical systems.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machining equipment like drills, grinders, etc.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of equipment and production lines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and report defects or unsafe conditions.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and safety gear.
- Assist in testing and commissioning of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain records of work performed, maintenance logs, and spare parts used.
- Adhere to company safety standards and 5S practices.
- Collaborate with other technicians, welders, electricians, and supervisors as needed.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- ITI Fitter certification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical fitting or maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and manuals.
- Familiar with tools, gauges, and mechanical measuring instruments (e.g., vernier calipers, micrometers).
- Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment (preferred).
- Knowledge of welding, fabrication, or basic machining is an added advantage.

**Preferred**:

- Experience in heavy engineering, machine building, or fabrication industries.
- Exposure to ISO / TPM / Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and industrial maintenance procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in a factory/plant environment.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
