Job Description:
The Inside **Sales Manager / Admission Counsellor **plays a pivotal role in driving the sales process by effectively promoting and selling our programs. The primary responsibility of this role is to engage with potential leads, guide them through the sales cycle, and ultimately convert them into enrolled students. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong communication skills, persuasive abilities, and a passion for helping individuals achieve their educational and career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Qualification:
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with our program offerings and target demographics.
2. Consultative Selling:
- Engage with leads in a consultative manner to understand their needs, motivations, and challenges.
- Provide detailed information about our programs, curriculum, admission requirements, and career outcomes.
- Address any concerns or objections raised by prospective students and provide appropriate solutions or alternatives.
3. Sales Conversion:
- Guide leads through the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to enrolment.
- Build rapport and trust with potential students to encourage conversion.
- Utilize effective sales techniques to overcome objections and close deals.
4. Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with leads, current students, and alumni.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to enrolled students to ensure a smooth transition into their chosen program.
5. Data Management and Reporting:
- Keep detailed records of interactions with leads and update CRM systems accordingly.
- Generate regular reports on sales activities, conversion rates, and pipeline status.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in inside sales, admissions counselling, or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasive abilities.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of the education industry and understanding of academic programs is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
