**Job Title: Financial Business Analyst/Product Owner**

**Introduction**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements for enhancements and new functionalities within the financial domain.
- Act as a Product Owner, maintaining the product backlog, prioritizing user stories, and ensuring clear communication of requirements to the development team.
- Utilize enterprise job schedulers and scripting (bash) to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Handle incident and problem management using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deconstruct issues and synthesize solutions from data.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to debug issues, ensuring a clear understanding and resolution of technical challenges.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and ensure that development work aligns with enterprise-level standards and strategies.
- Exercise strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among diverse personality types and stakeholders.
- Independently manage projects, including task list creation and follow-up with other contributors, including vendor partners.
- Serve as a Scrum Master/Product Owner for Agile teams, adhering to Scrum or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) guidelines and coaching teams on Agile best practices.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a financial business analysis or product ownership role.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Proficient with SQL, including the ability to troubleshoot data issues, understand business rules from stored procedures, and reverse engineer functional requirements from code.
- Previous experience in the banking or lending industry.
- Strong communication skills with a keen eye for detail in requirements gathering and documentation.

**Desired Skills and Knowledge**:

- Familiarity with vendor integration projects and partnerships with third-party vendors.
- Quality Assurance (QA) background.
- Development experience, particularly with C#.

**Tools and Technologies**:

- Proficiency in SQL and enterprise scheduling tools.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Knowledge of ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Remedy for issue tracking.

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Professional certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Agile methodologies (e.g., CSPO, CSM).
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial data to inform business decisions.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and stakeholder management.
