**Job Title**: Cleaning and Maintenance IN charge

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cleaning Duties**:

- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the facility.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, and furniture.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners.
- Sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap), and maintain cleanliness.
- Handle cleaning of specialized areas (e.g., kitchens, laboratories) following proper protocols.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
- **Maintenance Duties**:

- Perform minor repairs such as fixing leaky faucets, changing light bulbs, and adjusting door hinges.
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility’s equipment and systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) to ensure proper functioning.
- Replace filters, lubricate machinery, and perform other preventative maintenance tasks as needed.
- Coordinate with external vendors for more complex repairs or maintenance services.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance materials, and reorder as necessary.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while performing tasks.
- Use cleaning agents and tools safely and according to manufacturer instructions.
- Ensure that all cleaning and maintenance work areas are secured and safe.
- Report any safety hazards or potential risks to the supervisor immediately.
- **Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of cleaning and maintenance tasks performed.
- Document any repairs or issues encountered and communicate with management about the status.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
