Tapeline & Looms Department Supervisor

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Tape Programming & Planning**:
a. Receive and interpret production plans from the **PPC (Production Planning and Control) Department**.

b. Develop and implement tape programming based on the final planning of looms, ensuring alignment with fabric requirements.

c. Coordinate and ensure that tapelines are properly prepared for loom operations based on fabric specifications.

2. **Fabric & Bobbin Planning**:
a. Plan and schedule fabric production and bobbin supply to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted functioning of looms.

b. Maintain accurate records of fabric requirements, ensuring that necessary resources are available for production.

c. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the timely availability of raw materials for loom operations.

3. **Quality Assurance**:
a. Monitor and check the strength, elongation, denier, mesh, and other critical fabric parameters to ensure they meet quality standards.

b. Conduct regular inspections of raw materials and finished fabric to ensure that quality specifications are consistently met.

4. **Loom Operations Management**:
a. Oversee and manage loom operations, ensuring efficient workflow and the timely completion of production targets.

b. Ensure that all loom operations are carried out smoothly and without interruptions by monitoring machine performance and addressing any issues promptly.

c. Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that looms are well-maintained and any technical issues are resolved quickly.

5. **Department Management**:
a. Supervise and manage the Tapeline & Looms Department, ensuring that all activities are performed according to established procedures and standards.

b. Lead and motivate team members, ensuring high levels of productivity and adherence to safety and quality guidelines.

6. **Finishing Department Knowledge**:
a. Demonstrate an understanding of the **Finishing Department**, including knowledge of key processes such as **Packaging Unit**to ensure the proper transition of fabric through the production process.

b. Collaborate with the finishing team to ensure that fabric meets the necessary finishing requirements for final products.

7. **Continuous Improvement**:
a. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize resource usage.

b. Work closely with the production planning team to address any discrepancies or challenges in production planning.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
