**Your day at NTT DATA**

The Accounting Support Coordinator assists with all general accounting functions, but not limited to, general accounts payable and receivable functions.

This role applies the appropriate knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of accounting support activities that are considered moderately difficult.

This role provides support that enables the processing of company accounts.

**What you'll be doing**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepares and processes month-end journal entries and all relevant financial reports.
- Captures and generates purchase orders and manage the related invoices and collections.
- Assists with the administration of the accounts receivable function, opening of new accounts with master data, collecting cash and resolving queries.
- Assists the accounts payable function by dealing with shared services department.
- Allocates cash in the financial system and assist with the reconciliation of client remittances.
- Deals with vendor queries related to accounts, ensuring that progress and solutions are communicated.
- Maintains and updates the status of accounts receivables and payables.
- Assists accountants by preparing all administrative financial data and reports.
- Assists with any other accounting support activities as and when required.

- Ability to interpret processes, policies, financial and legal documents.

**Academic Qualifications and Certifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Completion of (or working towards completion of) a relevant Financial or Accounting qualification or related field.

**Required Experience**:

- Relevant demonstrated work experience gained within a similar role.
- Relevant demonstrated work experience or aptitude to execute work within a financial environment.
