As a **Ready-to-Wear Kids Garment Sourcing Merchandiser**, you will be responsible for identifying, selecting, and sourcing ready-made kids’ garments from various manufacturers and suppliers. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure that products meet quality standards, delivery schedules, and cost objectives. This role will play a critical part in expanding our product lines and ensuring our garments are ready for market on time.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sourcing Ready-to-Wear Garments**: Identify and source finished ready-to-wear kids’ garments from global suppliers, ensuring they meet our quality, design, and ethical standards.
- **Supplier & Vendor Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring consistent product availability, quality, and timely deliveries.
- **Product Quality & Compliance**: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that all sourced garments meet safety, quality, and compliance standards for children’s wear, including certifications for materials used.
- **Cost Negotiation & Control**: Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to ensure cost-effective sourcing while maintaining quality standards.
- **Market & Trend Analysis**: Monitor market trends, consumer demand, and competitor offerings to stay ahead in the kids' apparel market and ensure the sourced garments are aligned with current styles and seasonal demands.
- **Order & Inventory Management**: Oversee the order process from placement to delivery, tracking shipments and managing inventory to ensure that products are available on time.
- **Sales & Performance Analysis**: Monitor the performance of sourced garments in the market, working with sales and marketing teams to analyze trends and adjust sourcing strategies based on product performance.
- **Logistics Coordination**: Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure the timely delivery of products, manage shipping schedules, and handle any supply chain disruptions.
- **Cost & Profitability Tracking**: Analyze and track costs to ensure sourcing activities align with budget expectations and profitability goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sourcing ready-to-wear kids’ garments, ideally with experience in working with international suppliers.
- Strong understanding of garment quality control, compliance standards, and sourcing best practices for children’s apparel.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to maintain productive relationships with global suppliers.
- Experience in tracking market trends and customer demands, particularly in the kids’ apparel segment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple sourcing activities and tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience.
- Passion for children's fashion and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
