- We are looking for a CMDB Configuration manager with good understanding and experience in the ITIL and ITSM best practices.
- Specifically, the Configuration Manager will be responsible for curating and maintaining the quality, integrity, accuracy, and security of the CMDB.
- **Responsibilities**:
Act as SME to establish Configuration Management Process and core capabilities
- Provide active hands-on support and enhance the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Work closely with ServiceNow Discovery Team and Service Mapping team on Configuration Item (CI) Discovery, Discovery Integration, and Service Mapping.
- Provide an understanding of the requirements and objectives of ITIL and ITSM best practices and advise stakeholders in the execution of Configuration Management process activities required to enable effective IT Operations across the organisation.
- Ensure end-to-end delivery of Configuration Management services and be responsible for developing and maintaining a complete, accurate, secure, and compliant CMDB while continuously improving processes and standards.
- Provide valuable inputs and support for regular audits and utilisation of Cis in the organisation.
- Work closely with IT Business and Service Management teams and improve processes
- **Must have**:
8-10+ years of IT infrastructure experience
- 3-5+ years of experience with Configuration and/or Change and Release Management
- Experience with ServiceNow and/or Remedy CMDB
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundations
- Experience implementing and/or supporting a Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- **Nice to have**:
Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency, and ease.
- Experience with CI Discovery and Service Mapping technologies.
- Proven track record for working effectively with technical and business functions.
- **Skills Required**:
