**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, label, and test samples, solutions, and reagents under controlled conditions.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., centrifuges, microscopes, spectrophotometers).
- Record and analyze data accurately and maintain detailed logs of laboratory procedures and findings.
- Assist in conducting experiments and research projects as directed by senior staff or scientists.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of lab equipment and work areas.
- Adhere to all laboratory health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Calibrate instruments and troubleshoot equipment when necessary.
- Manage inventory of lab supplies and place orders as needed.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, summaries, and documentation for research or quality control purposes.

**Qualifications**:

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
- Previous laboratory experience (academic or professional) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety and best practices.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work is typically performed in a laboratory setting.
- May involve exposure to biohazards, chemicals, and laboratory equipment.
- Requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
