Possesses a recognized degree in any branch of engineering or technology (UGC Approved/AICTE approved or equivalent) and had a practical experience of working in a building or other construction work in supervisory capacity for a period of not less than 2 years.

or

Possesses a recognized diploma in any branch of engineering or technology (UGC Approved/AICTE approved or equivalent) and has had practical experience of building or other construction work in supervisory capacity for a period of not less than 5 years.

AND

(ii) Possesses a degree or diploma in industrial safety with at least one paper in construction safety (as elective) and the degree/ diploma is recognized by the State/ Central Government in this behalf
