Designation - Safety Officer (Thermal Power Plant)

Location - Chhattisgarh

We are looking for an experienced Safety professional in the Ash - Thermal sector or power plants, who will oversee and manage safety operations at the Thermal power plants.
- Continuous inspection of project sites, to ensure a hazard-free environment
- Assessment and approval of subcontractor safety plans
- Verification of tools and equipment to ensure good quality
- Promoting safe practices on site
- Creating and enforcing safety guidelines and programs
- Carrying out drills and exercises on managing emergency situations
- Conducting investigations on accidents
- Verifying that all safety reports are submitted to related government institutions.
- Responding to workers safety concerns
- Manages all communications with government departments in regards of safety
- Arranges OSHA-mandated evaluations of the site
- Coordinates all issues regarding hazardous materials or waste
- Establishing and maintaining health and safety communication structures
- Testing effectiveness of site emergency response plans
- Continuous monitoring of all safety related documents, reports and issues to keep them updated

**Desired Profile**
- Any graduate with valid diploma in safety certificate
- Min 3+ yrs experience in handling safety issues in the Thermal power Plants.
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

- Korba, Chhattisgarh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
