**Job Title: EHS Officer (Environmental, Health, and Safety) - Civil Construction**

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Environmental Compliance**: Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, policies, and permits applicable to civil construction projects. Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop strategies to minimize environmental risks.
- **Safety Management**: Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment for all personnel involved in civil construction projects. Conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
- **Risk Assessment**: Conduct risk assessments related to environmental and safety hazards in construction activities. Develop risk mitigation strategies and provide recommendations to project teams.
- **Training and Awareness**: Develop and deliver training programs on environmental awareness, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance for construction personnel. Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of environmental monitoring, safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions. Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities as required.
- **Emergency Response**: Develop and implement emergency response plans for environmental incidents and workplace accidents. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and effective response to emergencies.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for improving environmental performance and safety practices in civil construction projects. Implement best practices and initiatives to enhance EHS standards across the organization.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Health, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety management, preferably in the civil construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, safety standards, and best practices applicable to construction projects.
- Professional certifications in environmental management (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor) will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- **Prior experience working in the Gulf region will be preferred.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

**Salary**: ₹150,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
