We are looking for a skilled Finance and Accounts Officer with 5-8 years of experience to manage invoicing, vendor payments, cash flow, taxation compliance and banking operations. The role involves maintaining accurate books using Tally ERP, handling employee reimbursements and payroll, preparing financial documentation for credit facilities and supporting project costing for business development. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS/TCS and bank reconciliation is essential.

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Accounts Receivable and Project Billing**
- Generate and issue project-based invoices as per predefined schedules.
- Coordinate with clients for timely payment follow-ups and issue payment reminders.
- Maintain an aging report of outstanding receivables and escalate the cases to higher management.

**Accounts Payable an**d Vendor Management**
- Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) for vendors.
- Track payment schedules and ensure timely disbursement to vendors.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.

**Cash Flow and Fund Management**
- Monitor daily cash flow and maintain liquidity to meet operational needs.
- Forecast short
- and mid-term cash requirements and report variances.
- Oversee fund allocation and optimize working capital usage.

**Taxation and Statutory Compliance**
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST, TDS and TCS returns.
- Stay updated with the latest taxation laws and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, consultants and regulatory authorities as required.

**Banking and Reconciliation**
- Conduct periodic bank reconciliations to ensure transaction accuracy.
- Manage relationships with banks and negotiate for facilities like CC/OD.
- Prepare and submit required documentation for financial arrangements and credit facility renewals.

**Accounting and Bookkeeping**
- Maintain accurate books of account using Tally ERP or similar tools.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Conduct internal checks and ensure accounting records are audit-ready.

**Expense and Project Cost Management**
- Track and allocate project-specific expenses for accurate costing and profitability analysis.
- Monitor overheads and suggest cost-control measures.

**Payroll and Employee Reimbursements**
- Process salaries, reimbursements and employee-related tax computations.
- Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESI, professional tax and income tax.

**Support for Business Development**
- Assist in preparing project cost estimates and pricing models.
- Provide financial insights to support tendering and proposal submissions.

**Key Qualifications and Skills**:

- ** Education**:B.Com/M.Com or CA (Inter) or MBA (Finance) preferred.
- ** Experience**:3-6 years in core finance and accounts functions, preferably in a project-based environment. Experience of EPC projects will be preferred.
- ** Tools**:Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel and accounting software.
- ** Skills**:Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- ** Knowledge**:In-depth understanding of Indian taxation laws, financial documentation and statutory compliance.
